How It Works:
- Order Placement: When you place an order for the Custom Lamellar Plate Sample, we’ll promptly reach out to you.
- Provide Your Design: We’ll ask you to send us either a vector drawing or a dimensioned drawing of the desired lamellar shape. Whether it’s a unique pattern, an intricate design, or a specific size, we’re here to bring your vision to life.
- Material Selection: Based on your design, we’ll cut three pieces out of scrap material. The weight of these plates will vary between 20g and 16g, depending on what’s available.
- Quote for Additional Plates: Along with the sample plates, we’ll provide you with a quote for ordering more of these custom lamellar plates. Whether you need a few or a whole set, we’ve got you covered.
- Library Inclusion: Any shape you provide will be added to our “Compatible Lamellar” so that your design can become part of our standard offerings, benefiting other enthusiasts and historical reenactors.
- Sample Duplication: If you already have an existing lamellar piece that you’d like to replicate, simply order the Sample Custom Lamellar Plate and mail us your sample. We’ll carefully measure it to ensure an accurate duplication and if you don't want samples back its FREE!
- Privacy is an option: If you don't want your design shared and just want us to make a private offering for you that is ok too. There is a nominal fee to cover the design costs as we won't be able to cover those costs in future orders from other folks.
